Before joining Brondell, Mr. Tupen was the senior manager of cloud product support at Genesys, where he was tasked with expanding the business-to-business support model, hiring, training, and migrating processes.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Tupen gained valuable expertise in technical support management, software implementations, and more in executive roles with Trimble Inc. and Retail Pro International. Through the latter, he managed a portfolio of accounts for NASCAR, Sony Entertainment retail throughout South America, Victorinox, Sportline America in Panama, American Apparel, and The Venetian Casino in Macau, China.
An expert in his field, Mr. Tupen holds a trade certification in project management through Catalysis Group. In addition to his professional endeavors, he is an official measurer for the North American Big Game Animals for the Boone & Crockett Club and was previously a CERT liaison for the Elk Grove/Galt Community Emergency Response Team, earning him the honor of being selected as a co-recipient of the 2012 Elk Grove, CA Mayor's Volunteer Award for Social and Community Service.
One of the highlights of Mr. Tupen's career is his role as a project manager for NASCAR. In this position, he led a project involving a software program that required considerable modifications. The original instructions for using the software were discarded, so Mr. Tupen and his team had to completely rewrite the software to tailor it to NASCAR's needs. This project, which demanded his problem-solving skills and adaptability, is one that he takes great pride in.
Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Mr. Tupen credits his success to recognizing and seizing the right opportunities and above all, respecting others.
