He also unified other business units on technology services reducing their usage of competitive products. Mr. Durkin also found success as the Director of Information Technology at Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies, where he built technology services and operations from the ground up. In this greenfield opportunity, he was able to build a business technology platform to offer services to accommodate 13 acquisitions in 7 countries. In 18 months, he migrated their current infrastructure, applications, enterprise resource planning, and operations technology into this architecture. This business-technology modularity design contributed to the company's technological advancements and ability to add value-add products and processes from one entity to be leveraged by another.
Academically, Mr. Durkin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from Western Governors University and a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Tulane University. Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Durkin is actively involved in community-related outreach.
