She earned an MD from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio, and then spent six years of training in an intensive and vigorous hands-on environment at Loma Linda University in plastic surgery, completing her residency in 2013. In 2014, she opened Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Specialists and in 2023 opened a new location in La Jolla, California.
In addition to being certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Driessen has also earned numerous accolades, including being featured in The Aesthetic Guide magazine and receiving a Patients' Top Choice Award from U.S. News and World Report.
