Ms. Stanton began her career at EAC Network in 2012 as a program coordinator. In 2018, she was promoted to senior director of NYC TASC programs, where she played a crucial role in the development and implementation of services that prevent repeated offenses among justice-involved individuals. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ms. Stanton ascended to her current role at EAC Network, and she currently manages offices across New York City's five boroughs, as well as Nassau, Suffolk and Rockland counties.
Before joining EAC Network, Ms. Stanton accumulated critical experience as a public health analyst at RTI International from 2007 to 2012. There, she focused on program management and grant evaluation research. She also relies on academic training and holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Medaille College, from which she graduated in 2004. Ms. Stanton went on to pursue graduate studies and earned a Master of Arts in forensic psychology from John Jay College, City University of New York, in 2007.
Ms. Stanton attributes her success to the support of colleagues and peers, as well as her own resilience and adaptability. She embraces constructive criticism and maintains a positive outlook, even during challenging times. Throughout her career, she has earned recognition for her meaningful contributions. In 2023, she accepted both the Power Women of Brooklyn award from Schenps Media and an Outstanding Citizen citation from the New York State Assembly, accolades that underscore her positive impact on the lives of those she serves. Ms. Stanton supports many industry-related organizations such as the Legal Action Center and LGBTQ Workgroup, demonstrating her persistent dedication to advocacy and professional development.
Outside of her professional life, Ms. Stanton enjoys outdoor activities, and she prioritizes activities that bring balance to her life.
