Mr. DeLange has devoted his life to military service and entrepreneurship, culminating in a distinguished career that spans over four decades. As the founder of NorthStar Life Strategies, he serves as a certified high-performance coach who focuses on assisting veterans dealing with unresolved trauma. As such, Mr. DeLange assists them in improving their lives through coaching and other proven strategies for promoting post-traumatic growth, developing resilience, and personal development.

Having enlisted in the U.S. Army immediately following high school, Mr. DeLange served his country in multiple roles of increasing responsibility for 30 years, achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Four (CW4). Among his many assignments, he served as the division automation management officer for the 25th Infantry Division from 1993 to 1997, the deputy chief for systems support at the Joint Analysis Center, RAF Molesworth, United Kingdom, an information technology program manager for the U.S. European Command between 1997 and 2000, and the logistics information management officer for the U.S. Army Special Operations Command from 2000 to 2002. He was among the first to deploy to the Middle East after the attacks of September 11th, 2001. From 2003 until his retirement in 2007, Mr. DeLange was a test director for the National Assessment Group, an elite unit charged with conducting technology assessments for Executive Branch agencies and Allied partners.

Upon retiring from active duty, Mr. DeLange transitioned to various U.S. Department of Defense roles. He served as the chief of test operations and policy division for the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization's Joint Test Board until 2008. Mr. DeLange also held positions such as vice president of client engagement at MAV6 between 2008 and 2010 and program manager and management consultant at NorthStar Consulting Group from 2010 to 2012. He returned to the Joint Improvised Threat Defeat Agency in 2018 where he served in various roles, including chief of joint doctrine and chief of readiness. His professional career culminated at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency in 2023 where he served as the chief of staff within the Global Integration Department.

Possessing a rich educational background, Mr. DeLange obtained a Bachelor of Science in management of information systems from the University of Maryland in College Park in 1992 and a Master of Arts in education and human development from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., in 1995. He also holds credentials as a certified high-performance coach and certified radical forgiveness coach and received a certificate in managing and writing federal proposals through Shipley Associates.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. DeLange is an active member of several industry and civic organizations, including the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Toastmasters. He also previously volunteered at Martha's Table from 2012 to 2015.

Mr. DeLange has been awarded a Legion of Merit, several Joint Meritorious Service Awards, four Meritorious Service Awards, the Kosovo Campaign Medal and the Iraq Campaign Medal. However, his most notable military achievement was leading soldiers into combat and bringing them home safely.

In the future, Mr. DeLange aspires to influence national health care policies, specifically those focusing on mental and emotional well-being.
