As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Bhargava, a distinguished professional with seven years of experience in the finance field, serves as the director of finance at the Georgetown University Medical Center's Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. In her three years on the job, she has handled more than 250 grants related to cancer research, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and managing contracts with pharmaceutical companies and private foundations. Additionally, she oversees annual events and manages all aspects of grant management, including five-year budget projections based on strategic decisions.

Ms. Bhargava's career journey began as a financial analyst at Georgetown University in 2017. She quickly advanced to the role of senior financial analyst by 2018 and then to business administrator in 2020. Her tenure at Georgetown University has been marked by significant achievements, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, during which she played a crucial role in managing grant funds and budgetary matters. Despite substantial financial setbacks due to the pandemic's impact on university funding and student enrollment, she successfully navigated these challenges without resorting to layoffs, a feat she considers her most notable achievement.

Before joining Georgetown University, Ms. Bhargava held various roles that contributed to her extensive expertise. From 2013 to 2017, she served as an assistant technical director for women's football at JFC Sports and Management Pvt. Ltd., where she was instrumental in promoting women's soccer in India. Concurrently, she worked as an analyst at Claremont Consulting Group from 2014 to 2017. Her early career also included internships at prestigious organizations such as Kairos Society and EY and roles like advertising associate at The Student Life.

Ms. Bhargava's academic background is equally impressive. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business in 2023 and holds a bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, and finance from Claremont McKenna College, graduating in 2017. Born in Chandigarh, India, her foundational education includes completing Standard XII (A Level Equivalent) at Bhavan Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School in 2013 and Standard X (O Level Equivalent) at St. Stephens School in 2011.

Throughout her career, Ms. Bhargava has received numerous accolades, including the Dean's Citation Award for Instructional Leadership during her MBA program and the Five Year Award for Exceptional Performance from Georgetown University. Her leadership skills were evident early on as she served as head girl at Bhavan Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School in 2012 and sports captain at St. Stephens School in 2010.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Bhargava is actively involved in industry-related organizations. She has chaired the Human Rights Council at McKenna Model United Nations since 2014 and has held various other leadership roles within Model United Nations organizations over the years.

In her free time, Ms. Bhargava enjoys playing soccer, attending concerts, and hiking. Drawing from her own experiences navigating complex immigration issues while maintaining career progression, she empathizes with the hardships faced by immigrants in the United States. Looking ahead, she envisions establishing her own versatile consulting firm that will offer services in economics, human resources, and sports consultancy.
