Since 2024, she has been dedicated to running and managing meetings to ensure support and clinical coordination with her team. She oversees the appropriateness of services for staff, psych and clients, advocates for high-quality care and builds partnerships with surrounding practices, universities, hospitals and medication prescribers. Additionally, she provides supervision to her staff, addresses clinical complications for clients and handles administrative tasks such as billing services and providing outpatient therapy.
In addition to her role at Emerging Wellness LLC, Ms. Vlossak serves as the program director at GenPsych since 2024. In this capacity, she manages an intensive outpatient mental health program for adults and children with diverse needs, including mental health crises and eating disorders. Ms. Vlossak also conducts meetings amongst her clinical and onsite staff to ensure ethical and evidenced-based treatment services and comprehensive care. As a program director she collaborates with nearby hospitals, school districts, universities, and medical offices to network and bridge referral partnerships.
Her previous roles include working as a therapist in an intensive outpatient group at GenPsych and serving as a crisis intervention specialist at Preferred Behavioral Health Group. Ms. Vlossak has historical employment where she has learned expertise in crisis de-escalation, case management, and psychotherapy in a variety of outpatient and in-home settings. She has worked under the New Jersey umbrella of the Children System of Care in the past.
Ms. Vlossak's expertise in training with eating disorders for all ages and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) is widely recognized. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, reflecting her commitment to professional development and industry standards.
Her educational background includes a bachelor's degree in psychology from Rutgers University and a master's degree in professional counseling from Liberty University. Ms. Vlossak also holds several certifications, including licensed professional counselor from the National Board for Certified Counselors, certified eating disorder specialist from the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals and certification training in DBT. She has training as a Certified Crisis Intervention Specialist and the Nurtured Heart Approach for children and parents. She attributes her success to the unwavering love and support of her parents and the guidance of her high school mentor, a counselor and clinical psychologist who inspired her career choice.
Outside of her professional life, Ms. Vlossak is actively involved in civic organizations. She volunteers at the food bank at her church and coordinates meals within the community through Helping Hands. Her dedication to service has earned her recognition as Employee of the Month.
Born in Seoul and adopted at 3 months old, Ms. Vlossak has lived in New Jersey ever since. In her leisure time, she cherishes spending time with her friends and family and enjoys such activities as attending concerts and festivals, going to the beach, camping, drawing, painting, reading and watching her daughter grow. Looking ahead, she is determined to expand her business statewide and nationwide while providing accessible Telehealth and in-person care for those in need. Her minority status assists her in relating to the community and her clientele.
