GREAT FALLS, VA, October 25, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sherif Wahby has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Mr. Wahby chose to transition into entrepreneurship after a long history of success in the recruiting sector. In 2010, he launched Capital Executive Solutions, a boutique recruiting consulting firm that intended to leverage Mr. Wahby's network and experience in Washington D.C., Silicon Valley, and the Middle East. In 2018, Mr. Wahby and his team at Capital Executive Solutions were acquired by their largest client, Markon Solutions, a Virginia-based Government contractor supporting the Defense and Intelligence community. In 2021, Markon Solutions was acquired by Anser Advisory, a California-based company. Between 2021 and the end of 2023, Mr. Wahby led the nationwide Talent Acquisition team for Anser Advisory. During this period, 6 additional firms were acquired and integrated under the Anser Advisory umbrella, contributing to the total $220M in annual revenues. Anser Advisory's rapid growth and success ultimately resulted in Accenture purchasing them in late 2023. Although a leadership role was guaranteed under the Accenture umbrella, Mr. Wahby decided to leave and start his next venture. In January of 2024, BOAB Ventures was launched with the vision of becoming a diversified group of companies supporting a wide range of Recruiting and Talent Acquisition needs of their global client base.
Mr. Wahby's non-profit activity includes being a founding Board member of Boston-based RISE Egypt and a Founding Board member of Cairo-based Helm. His experience with these two organizations inspired him to launch Bellator Recruiting Academy in 2016. He was joined by his co-founder Bryan Mabry, who had recently transitioned from a career with the Intelligence Community. The two sought to leverage their interests and expertise to help others. Bellator Recruiting Academy is a 501c3 dedicated to transforming the lives of veterans by aligning them with opportunities in the recruiting industry. The academy offers free training sessions for veterans and a customizable fellowship program spanning up to 12 months, where some of the best talent acquisition teams in the country provide them with rigorous immersion in the recruiting field. Graduating fellows from the program have become employed by corporations such as Meta, Google, Accenture and Northrop Grumman and in turn become critical members of their Talent Acquisition teams. Bellator Recruiting Academy works diligently to identify new veteran talent that have the potential to become recruiters and the organization continues to look for new corporate partners who are committed to helping the veteran community and hiring more veterans.
Mr. Wahby finds satisfaction in building high-performance teams and changing the trajectory of the lives of transitioning military personnel by teaching them the power and significance of the recruiting business. In addition to his non-profit leadership involvement, Mr. Wahby has been an active member of Business Executives for National Security since 2015. BENS is a non-profit whose 400+ members provide pro bono strategic advice to US Government Agencies and the Department of Defense.
A graduate of George Mason University, Mr. Wahby received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. He attributes his success to hard work, persistence, optimism, and surrounding himself with individuals committed to reaching their potential and helping others do the same.
