Mr. Segarra is a seasoned professional in the Plumbing and Mechanical Piping Industry, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at W. W. Gay Mechanical Contractor Inc. With more than 35 years of experience, he has demonstrated expertise in managing a wide variety of large and small-scale projects, including fabrication and large commercial to industrial-type work.
Mr. Segarra's career began with his role as a Foreman/Superintendent at Zabransky Mechanical from 1994 to 2005, where he managed large contracts and developed strong relationships. His tenure at this company still remains one of his proudest achievements. Concurrent with this role, he served as a plumbing supervisor at Saint Barnabas Medical Center.
In 2006, Mr. Segarra joined John J Kirlin LLC Mechanical Contractors Inc. as a Project Manager, a position he held until 2010. He then took on the role of Project Manager for the DIS Daytona Rising Project from 2013 to 2016 and later held a similar role at the Miami Beach Convention in 2016. For the following three years, he also worked as a Master Plumber -Project Manager at Buena Vista Construction.
Later in his career, Mr. Segarra served as a Project Manager consultant for BEED Engineering Inc. from 2012 to 2022 and was a Project Manager at Kirlin Group from 2019 to 2022. Additionally, he was a Project Manager at Ackerman Plumbing Inc. from 2021 to 2023 before joining W. W. Gay Mechanical Contractors Inc. in 2023.

He is also an active member of several industry-related organizations, including the American Society of Plumbing Engineers, Plumbers Local 24 - UA.
Mr. Segarra's educational background includes coursework in entrepreneurship and business studies at Middlesex College in 2005, a Licensed Journeyman - Plumber from the United Association Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #14 (now PLU 24) – completing the 5 Year Apprentice Program in 1998. He holds a diploma from Ralph R. McKee Vocational and Technical High School, graduating in 1983. Additionally, he holds numerous certifications, such as Quote Soft Estimating Software, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Revit, CAD as well as all the Microsoft Office Product Software. Mr. Segarra holds Master Plumber Licenses in New Jersey, Florida and North Carolina. Certifications from Procore Technologies, Aqua-Pure Master Levels I, II, III. as well as having his Medical Gas Installer Certification.
Mr. Segarra attributes his success to his early interest in electrical and mechanical technology, which was sparked by volunteer construction work in Brooklyn and working alongside his uncles and father in construction. His passion for building and seeing the final product has driven him to excel in his field.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Segarra is dedicated to his family and community. He is also an active volunteer with the Jehovah's Witnesses Organization. Looking ahead, he aims to obtain his State Certified Mechanical Contractor's License for the State of Florida and continue improving his skills in accounting software and design consulting.
