Widely recognized for her work, Dr. Reyes formerly worked in private practice as a forensic psychologist from 2020 to 2023. She was also a clinical psychologist at the Ann Klein Forensic Center between 2020 and 2021. Dr. Reyes's earlier experiences include postdoctoral fellowships at the Ann Klein Forensic Center and Ancora Psychiatric Hospital between 2019 and 2020.
Dr. Reyes's professional journey was significantly influenced by her undergraduate mentor, who was a distinguished professor in forensic psychology. This mentorship ignited her passion for the field and led to her first internship in forensic psychology during her sophomore year at Stockton University. Furthermore, Dr. Reyes gained valuable experience as a diagnostic extern with the Division of Psychological Services at the 19th Judicial Circuit Court and as a therapy practicum extern at Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System.
Dr. Reyes is highly educated. She has held a bachelor's degree in psychology from Stockton University since 2015, followed by a master's degree in forensic psychology and a Doctor of Psychology in clinical forensic psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Dr. Reyes is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and Washington State.
Dr. Reyes is an active member of several industry-related organizations including the American Psychology-Law Society and the New Jersey Psychological Association. Civically, she is a strong supporter of Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
In addition to her professional work, Dr. Reyes was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2012 followed by Golden Key International Honor Society and Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 2014.
Born in Vineland, Dr. Reyes remains deeply connected to her community and derives great satisfaction from instructing the emerging generation within her practice. In fact, Stockton University developed her office as an internship site for their upper-level undergraduate psychology students, with the goal of providing them with a better understanding of what a career in psychology would be like and to further bolster their experience in preparation for higher education. As of 2024, Dr. Reyes is an internship site affiliated with Stockton University, and she is heavily involved in the clinical training and supervision of undergraduate psychology students.
She also aims to expand her private practice by introducing group and individual therapy sessions while hiring additional staff to meet the growing demand. Dr. Reyes's dedication to mental health care continues to drive her efforts toward fostering a healthier community through comprehensive psychological services.
