Since establishing his business, he has been honored by four different White House administrations for his business practices and featured in a myriad of publications, radio and television shows, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and "How'd You Get To Be So Rich" with Joan Rivers. In addition to his primary design and architectural work, he has authored and produced "How to Succeed In Design," sharing his knowledge with interested parties. First launching his business in New York, Mr. Burger expanded his firm to include a Las Vegas office in 2006 to serve his West Coast clientele.
An expert in his field, Mr. Burger first completed coursework at Indiana University Bloomington in 1981. Subsequently, he studied design and architecture at the prominent New York School of Interior Design, graduating from the institution in 1987. Driven to remain abreast of changes in his field, he maintains professional alignment with several entities, including the American Society of Interior Designers, the Architectural and Decorative Arts Society, the National Historical Society and the American Institute of Architects, among many other organizations.
Mr. Burger's professional endeavors are complemented by his significant contributions to the community. He actively supports various charities in awareness of cancer research, the Ronald McDonald House Charities, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and AMFAR. He has further been affiliated with Habitat for Humanity, the Boys and Girls Club of America, Toys for Tots and the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Likewise, he is a board member of the Nevada Ballet and founding board president of the Contemporary West Dance Theater. Equally dedicated to athleticism, and drawing upon his prior experience in martial arts, he is an honorary life member of both the National Judo Society and the United States Judo Federation.
As a testament to his outstanding achievements, Mr. Burger has been honored among Las Vegas' Top 20 Entrepreneurs and earned the National Leadership Award from the National Congressional Committee in 2006. Similarly, he was named the honorary chairperson to the House Majority Trust and recognized as Businessman of the Year by the United States Congressional Business Advisory Council in 2003 and 2005. Mr. Burger derives the most pride from creating a year-long industry seminar in New York that drew attendees from all walks of life across the globe. Through the seminar, he taught participants how to manifest greatness and make a difference in their communities, contributing significantly to the growth and development of both established and emerging industry leaders.
