His expertise in project management and management consulting was honed earlier in his career as the head of global IT at Sunstar Suisse S.A. from 2003 to 2006.
Among other noteworthy roles, Mr. Fujiwara rose from senior consultant to director and senior manager at KPMG LLP between 1996 and 2003, implementing strategic technology solutions globally in various industries such as SAP R3, in which he was a certified consultant. He began his professional journey as a systems analyst at Salomon Brothers Inc. in 1989 before becoming a telecom manager at Lazard from 1992 to 1996.
Mr. Fujiwara's academic background laid a strong foundation for his illustrious career. He earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Columbia University in 1987 and a Master of Science in operations research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1989.
