She also served as the chief executive officer of GoKube Inc., a high-tech consulting firm in Dallas-Fort Worth, in 2012. Ms. Gonzalez's leadership was also evident in her role as the senior manager and CDW lead strategy at Symantec in the Greater Chicago area between 2010 and 2011, and as the director at Microsoft on a national level from 2003 to 2010.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Gonzalez was employed by IBM as the vice president of channel sales at Tivoli within IBM from 1999 to 2003 and then as a worldwide group executive between 2001 and 2003. Her career began at IBM in San Antonio, where she worked for more than 25 years before moving to Lotus Development for eight years until IBM acquired Lotus.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Gonzalez is actively involved in several industry-related and civic organizations. She is an advisory board member of the U.S. Cooperative for International Patient Programs, a program of NCHL. She also serves on the advisory panel for the Women in Leadership Program at the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston, is an advisory council member of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is affiliated with the Union Gospel Mission.
