During his tenure there, he was instrumental in expanding the company's portfolio by nearly one million square feet and achieving full occupancy of all residential and commercial properties. Notably, he oversaw the pre-leasing and pre-opening operations of Astra Tower, Utah's tallest building, consisting of 377 high-end residential apartments.
Prior to this role, Mr. Bowman was senior vice president of real estate operations at Kensington Investment Company from 2020 to 2022 and vice president at the same organization from 2019 to 2020. His earlier experience includes serving as a property manager at Unico Properties LLC from 2018 to 2019 and as a senior assistant property manager at Cushman & Wakefield from 2017 to 2018. He began his career as an assistant property manager at Commerce Real Estate Solutions in 2017. In these roles, Mr. Bowman has managed over 3.2 million square feet of commercial office, residential, technology and medical facilities.
In addition to his role as President of MIT Management, Mr. Bowman owns and operates TJMB Investment Series, LLC, a personal investment company that focuses on commercial and residential real estate, bridge loans, venture capital funds, and entrepreneurial startups.
Mr. Bowman's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Utah, which he earned in 2015. He further enhanced his expertise with a master's certificate in commercial real estate from Cornell University in 2024. Beyond his education, he attributes his success to his passion, the support of his family, a dedication to continuous learning and the influence of his grandfathers, who were involved in the real estate industry.
Mr. Bowman's accolades include being named National Wrestling Champion and Outstanding Wrestler by USA Wrestling at the 2017 AAU Grand Nationals. Throughout his career, he has also been actively involved in industry-related organizations as a member of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors since 2023. He is also affiliated with NAIOP Utah, BOMA Utah, and the Freemasonry Fraternity.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Bowman has made significant contributions to his community through various civic associations. He has been a bilingual youth advocate at East High School and previously volunteered as an inpatient volunteer at Shriners Hospitals for Children. His dedication to youth development is evident in his tenure as an assistant varsity wrestling coach and head junior varsity wrestling coach for the East High School Wrestling Team from 2009 to 2012.
