During her longstanding tenure at Valley Health System, she led an initiative to enhance the caregiving experience and organizational communication, which resulted in the organization accepting two prestigious Guardian of Excellence Awards from Press Ganey. Notably, these accolades were in recognition of Valley Health System's ranking in the 99th percentile nationally for two consecutive years in their urban care service line. They inspired the creation of a similar program in the hospice sector. Additionally, Ms. Blanco was invited to present at a regional medical practice conference due to her astute leadership. She has been a member of the board of directors of the Mental Health Association of Passaic County since 2021.
Previously, Ms. Blanco was an optometric technician and assistant supervisor at Pearle Vision from 2007 to 2015. She also interned at the Clifton Health Department in New Jersey in 2012. To prepare for her pronounced career, she pursued a formal education at Bergen Community College, receiving an Associate of Science in business administration and management in 2011. Thereafter, she graduated summa cum laude from Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Science in health education and public health in 2013. Moreover, she earned a Master of Public Administration in health policy and management from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University in 2015.
