She currently serves as an attorney at Lombardo Law PLLC, having begun her own practice in 2019. In this role, she predominantly handles a variety of tasks, including addressing complaints, negotiating settlement agreements, engaging in motion practice, appearing for court appointments and consulting with new and potential clients.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Lombardo was an attorney with Osborn Reed & Burke LLP practicing insurance defense litigation. Before that, she served as an associate attorney at Davidson Fink LLP from 2015 to 2018 and at Adams Bell Adams P.C. from 2013 to 2015. Her legal career began with internships at the Monroe County District Attorney's Office from 2009 to 2012 and the New York State Attorney General's Office in Buffalo the preceding year.
Ms. Lombardo's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2012 and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication/Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, both earned in 2009 from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. Her legal credentials include admissions to the New York State Bar and the Monroe County Bar.
Throughout her career, Ms. Lombardo has been actively involved in various professional organizations. She served as vice president for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Young Professional Advisory Board and and served on the Young Professionals Board for the Villa of Hope. She spent several years as the community service co-chair of the Monroe County Bar Association Teen Court liaison.
In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Lombardo has made significant contributions to her community. She is the creator of a library program for Alternatives for Battered Women and co-founded the Love, Lorenzo Memorial Foundation with her husband, which serves the community of parents who have lost a child. She is also involved in the social and music ministries at her church.
Ms. Lombardo has received several accolades for her work, including the Law Student Bar Association Achievement Award from the New York State Bar Association and the University at Buffalo Law School in 2012. During law school she authored "Prisoner-on-Prisoner Sexual Harassment: The Prevalence, Severity, and Lack of Legal Recourse," published by the Buffalo Journal of Gender Law and Social Policy in 2011.
In her personal life, Ms. Lombardo enjoys traveling, exposing her children to new things, reading and entertaining family and friends. She honors the memory of her late son Lorenzo through her work with the Love, Lorenzo Memorial Foundation.
