Dr. Azrag's educational background is impressive, having earned a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of California, Davis, in 1987. He also holds a Master of Science in civil engineering from the same institution and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Khartoum in Sudan, completed in 1980 before immigrating to the United States. In addition to his formal education, he is a registered professional engineer in Colorado, Iowa and Nevada.
