This opportunity allowed Ms. Cooper to gain valuable insights into global HR practices and broaden her perspective on international business operations. Between 2016 and 2019, Ms. Cooper was a human resources business partner at her company in Foley, Alabama. During this time, she also undertook a temporary international assignment in Tilburg, Netherlands, in 2018.
Among other noteworthy career accomplishments, Ms. Cooper was a regional human resources generalist at International Paper in Thorofare, New Jersey, in 2016 and a human resources generalist in Texarkana, Texas, between 2015 and 2016. Ms. Cooper's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in communications and a master's degree in human resource and industrial relations from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
