Mr. Bhandakkar's career began as a controls engineering intern at Infratech Controls in 2014. He then gained valuable experience as an engineering intern at Proserv Middle East from 2015 to 2016. During this time, he also served as a student ambassador for IEEE. In 2016, during his tenure as master's student, he transitioned to academia as a grader assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell before becoming a graduate teaching assistant in 2017. His involvement with IEEE continued as a reviewer for the IEEE Power & Energy Society from 2017 to 2018.
In 2018, Mr. Bhandakkar joined GreenBrilliance as a Solar Engineer, where he honed his skills over five years before assuming his current position in 2024. Additionally, he has been mentoring at Earth Hacks since 2021. His dedication to his profession is evident through his active membership in industry-related organizations, such as NABCEP and RESNET. He also previously held the position of secretary for IEEE Power and Energy Society in UAE from 2013 to 2014.
Mr. Bhandakkar's educational background includes a Master of Science in Energy (Renewable Solar) Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2018 and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with honors from Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani, completed in Dubai in 2016. Beyond his education, he attributes his success to his hard work and the training he received from his parents and mentors, who taught him how to meet challenges head-on and overcome difficulties.
Mr. Bhandakkar's commitment to continuous learning is reflected in his numerous certifications, including being a Certified Home Energy Rater by RESNET and holding an EPA Section 608 Certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Further contributing to his field, Mr. Bhandakkar has authored several academic publications, such as "Eliminating Irregular Hysteresis Behavior in Perovskite Solar Cells," published by the World Academy of Science Engineering and Technology in 2017. He is also the author of "A Boost to Construction Workers," published by Amity University Dubai in 2015.
