    CHAPEL HILL, NC, November 26, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sandra Lewis, MAPP, PCC, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Lewis has excelled in human resources leadership and executive coaching for many years. Since 2014, she has been instrumental as the president and executive coach at Positive Shift Coaching LLC in North Carolina. Ms. Lewis manages various responsibilities in her role, dedicating most of her time to coaching executives and leaders one-on-one, including high-level executives seeking career advancement. Furthermore, she supports attorneys and others by coaching leaders who have faced lawsuits and harassment allegations. Her ability to quickly gain clients' trust by effectively challenging and supporting their personal development paths has been a cornerstone of her success.

In addition to her primary roles, Ms. Lewis has been an executive coach for Silicon Valley Change Executive Coaching since 2014. She also was a human resources instructor for Duke University Continuing Education.

A remarkable career spanning three decades, Ms. Lewis initially found success as the vice president of employee relations at Chittenden Bank from 1993 to 2000. She then served as a senior consultant at Gallagher, Flynn & Company LLP until 2001 before becoming the director of human resources at ipCapital Group between 2001 and 2010. Among other progressive roles, Ms. Lewis was the vice president of human resources at Advanced Liquid Logic and Illumina from 2010 to 2014. Currently she also advises several mid-stage companies in the pharma and energy spaces.

Ms. Lewis also had the opportunity to serve as an executive coach at The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University from 2018 to 2019 and teach as an adjunct professor of applied psychology at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, and Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, between 2008 and 2014.

Ms. Lewis's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in psychology, summa cum laude, from Trinity College of Vermont and a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007. Her numerous professional credentials include becoming Shift Positive 360 certified from Change Positive LLC, fundamentals of organization and relationship systems coaching from CRR Global USA and certified professional coach from the International Coaching Federation. She also is certified as an Appreciative Inquiry practitioner through the David L. Cooperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry at Champlain College.

Highly engaged in the industry, Ms. Lewis was a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and served as an ambassador for the Raleigh, North Carolina, chapter of the International Coaching Federation. Additionally, she is involved with the International Positive Psychology Association and the Triangle Organizational Development Network.

Ms. Lewis's civic contributions include serving as a pro bono executive coach for local nonprofit organizations through the Raleigh International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits. She also serves as an alum class representative for the University of Pennsylvania and is a member of the University of Pennsylvania Masters of Applied Positive Psychology Alumni Association. Previously, Ms. Lewis served as the membership chair for the ICF Raleigh area chapter and was a program developer and trainer for "Standing on Your Own" with the Vermont Department of Corrections. Sandy is a member of the Barton International Family Council and also serves as a trustee of the associated Ruby Mountain Trust.

In addition to her professional and civic efforts, Ms. Lewis has contributed works to Intellectual Asset Magazine and Positive Psychology News LLC. She has also been an expert speaker on strengths at work during the International Day of Happiness Virtual Conference and a contributing speaker and guest lecturer at other events. She has also contributed to several books, including "Character Strengths Matter-How to Live a Full Life" and "Making Hope Happen-Create the Future You Want for Yourself and Others".
