He first earned a Bachelor of Science from Little Flower Degree College in India in 1983, followed by a Doctor of Medicine from Armed Forces Medical College in India in 1988. He then completed medical internships at South Central Railways Hospital in 1989 and at St. Paul Ramsey Medical Center in 1993. He subsequently completed his residency in neurology at the University of Minnesota in 1996, where he also pursued a fellowship in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology, graduating in 1998.
Underscoring Dr. Ghazali's professional qualifications are the several certifications he holds, including state medical licenses in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both general psychiatry and clinical neurophysiology, as well as by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. Additionally, he holds an ENLS certification. He attributes his success to a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning, embracing technological advancements such as MRIs and PET scans to enhance his practice.
In recognition of his contributions to medicine, Dr. Ghazali has received the Physicians Recognition Award from the American Medical Association and CMS Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification from Prime Suite EHR by Greenway Health LLC.
