Prior to his current roles, Mr. Flanigan served as a manager at Smith, Welch, Webb & White LLC from 2013 to 2014. He began his career as an associate attorney at Smith, Welch, Webb & White from 2008 until 2013, laying the foundation for his extensive legal knowledge and experience.
In addition to practicing the law, Mr. Flanigan has been an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia School of Law since 2016. This role fulfills one of his early aspirations to become a professor and allows him to impart his knowledge to future legal professionals. His commitment to education is also reflected in his membership in several industry-related organizations such as the Georgia Council of School Board Attorneys and the Council of School Attorneys.
Instrumental in Mr. Flanigan's professional achievements was his academic background. He earned a bachelor's degree in English language and literature from Emory University in 2001, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law, obtained in 2006. He attributes much of his success to the unwavering support of his family and colleagues, as well as his self-belief.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Flanigan is enthusiastically involved in civic activities such as serving as an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc and he is an assistant scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America.
