Mrs. Curler's role involves oversight of Cambia's Enterprise Risk Management program, monitoring industry trends for emerging risks, facilitating development of risk mitigation strategies, risk indicators and metrics, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Before joining Cambia Health Solutions, Mrs. Curler was the Associate Director of Enterprise Risk Management at the University of Oregon. In this capacity, she focused on developing programs that demonstrated value for executive leaders by illustrating how enterprise risk management can serve as a strategic tool. Her efforts supported leadership in achieving both immediate objectives and long-term goals. Throughout her Associate Director position, Mrs. Curler gained valuable experience that contributed to her expertise in enterprise risk management. She was instrumental as the Planning Section Chief for the Incident Management Team during the COVID-19 pandemic and the World Athletic Championships.
Affiliated with the University of Oregon since 2011, Mrs. Curler was initially hired as an Executive Assistant and Operations Manager in the General Counsel's Office until 2014. In this role, she was a member of the transition team that implemented the new governance structure for the university in 2013, which established the first board of trustees. Mrs. Curler then served as an Assistant Board Secretary from 2014 to 2018 and simultaneously as the Policy Coordinator for the university from 2016 to 2018.
Mrs. Curler's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government with a minor in business administration from the University of Oregon in 2006. She furthered her education by obtaining an Associate in Risk Management designation from the Insurance Institute of America in 2022. Additionally, Mrs. Curler holds several certifications, including NIMS ICS All-Hazards Planning Section Chief, comprehensive incident management training and Federal Emergency Management Agency credentials.
Mrs. Curler has been actively involved in civic organizations as a board member of the Karsten Tindal Legacy Strong Collaborative since 2024. She also volunteers with several local non-profit organizations, including the Lane County Chapter of the University of Oregon Alumni Association. Mrs. Curler served as the president of this non-profit for six years and currently serves as past president. Her dedication to community service compliments her professional achievements.
