FEDERAL WAY, WA, December 06, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Reco Orlando Bembry has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Well-regarded for 40 years of expertise in the field of consulting and youth development, Mr. Bembry has distinguished himself through his service as the chief executive officer of Bembry Consulting Services. An outdoor youth program developer, Bembry Consulting collaborates with community-based organizations to create fun and innovative team-building activities to empower young people. The firm offers a host of services, including management strategies and staff coaching, to build leadership skills, inclusive environments, workshops, art programs and more.

In his role as the chief executive officer, Mr. Bembry works with an array of high-capacity organizations to facilitate these programs, coaches staff members to ensure best practices and is a keynote speaker at several regional, state and national conferences on youth development. As a highly influential figure in his field, his methods have inspired numerous young people to reach their full personal and profession potential.

In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Bembry has touched the lives of many kids through the power of music and is a composer in his own right. He has served as the resident musical director of the Langston Hughes Cultural Arts Theater and founded the Seattle Teen Programming Unit, which encompassed a variety of platforms such as the Teen Summer Musical Program and the National Youth Congress Program, all in the name of delivering ways for young people to express themselves and follow their passions in life. Combining his many endeavors into one, he found Bembry Consulting Services in 2004 and continued to serve many communities ever since.

Mr. Bembry's performance in the field was born of his academic journey, in which he pursued his long-held love of music. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in music performance and composition from the Cornish Institute of the Arts, he was accepted into the Community Fellows Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he specialized in urban studies and affairs.

A prolific writer and composer, Mr. Bembry has authored several journals and papers discussing the ideal values to employ in the 21st century, key workforce improvement strategies and best practices for youth development. He has also composed nine original musicals and completed the score for the 2024 play "The Lion Tells His Tale."

Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Bembry has been a constant volunteer with such programs as Innovative Change Maker, Backpack Giveaways, Free Outing for Youth and YMCA of the USA. He also holds a variety of community-focused memberships, serving on the Drug and Alcohol Prevention Board and as president of the Rainier Valley Leadership Academy Board and the Outdoor Equity Coalition Board. To commemorate his accomplishment, Mr. Bembry has received a number of awards for his services to youth development and communities. He was presented with multiple awards of the City of Seattle, including the Meritorious Service Award and the Violence Prevention and Intervention Award, and won the Outstanding Hero Award from the RoundTable Associates in 2005. His work with Bembry Consulting Services was recognized through winning the Ethnic Minority Society Award for excellence in urban recreation and parks as well as the Diamond Award for excellence in community service.

Though his work has garnered much personal recognition, Mr. Bembry's proudest achievement is giving himself the chance to work with and educate young people. Being able to have positive influence on a child or teenager's life is a joy and passion he never takes for granted.

Looking to the future, Mr. Bembry plans to use writing to continue serving as a positive influence. He is working on his autobiography and intends to co-author a book with a friend about the significance of friendship. Also desiring to focus on coaching, he hopes to author a book on mentorship and aims to teach young people how to stay healthy and become financially sound as they grow older. With his combination of experience, knowledge and compassion for helping others, he is uniquely positioned to continue influencing kids and society for the better.
