Ms. Dixon has had a distinguished career as an experienced global and business-minded executive in the oil and gas industry for over two decades. As the global product line manager at BICO Drilling Tools Inc. in Houston since 2024, she has quickly become recognized for her expertise in customer relationships, sales management, operational excellence, driving profitability, local talent identification and development, and business development. Ms. Dixon's role involves enhancing technologies, particularly in drilling mud motors, maintaining high standards in products and services, ensuring consistent delivery quality, exploring innovative technologies and fostering an environment that prioritizes customer satisfaction.
Having begun her career with Baker Hughes Company in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, Ms. Dixon worked as a well planner from 2000 to 2004. She advanced to become a directional driller from 2004 to 2007 and a senior drilling engineer between 2007 and 2008. Subsequently, Ms. Dixon became the Shell accounts manager from 2008 to 2009 and the commercial manager until 2010. Her leadership skills were further honed as she took on the sales manager role for drilling services between 2010 and 2012.
In 2012, Ms. Dixon achieved a significant milestone by becoming the Europe regional manager for the drilling services and drill bits product line at Baker Hughes Company in London. At the time, she was the youngest and only Black female regional manager in Europe. During her tenure, she launched an initiative that enabled Baker Hughes to meet and exceed its global targets in 2013. This accomplishment underscored Ms. Dixon's commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the industry.
Ms. Dixon's career trajectory continued upward as she held various leadership roles within Baker Hughes Company across Africa. From 2014 to 2015, she was the country director for Far West Africa in Ghana. She then served as the sales director for Central Africa until 2016 and as the regional director for Surface SSA in Sub-Sahara Africa between 2016 and 2017 for General Electric Oil & Gas. Her strategic vision was further demonstrated as the sales director for West Africa from 2017 to 2018 and as the managing director for Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire until 2022.
Ms. Dixon holds a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics, with First Class Honors, from the University of Benin. Her academic achievements laid a strong foundation for her career in the oil and gas sector. She further enhanced her expertise with several certifications, such as data science for business from Harvard Business School at Harvard University in 2024 and Lean Six Sigma green belt certification from Baker Hughes Corporation.
Outside of her primary objectives, Ms. Dixon is actively involved in several industry-related organizations, including the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Black Employee Network. Civically, she has been active with Girls Inc. and Rotary International. She also paid for the full cost of surgery for an eight-year-old girl, Linda, who is suffering from Scoliosis through the Miss Ghana Foundation in 2022 and provided various educational scholarships to children in West Africa. She has contributed to academic literature published in the Journal of the Nigerian Association of Mathematical Physics.

Ms. Dixon attributes much of her success to a strong foundation in spirituality and family values instilled by her father, a chartered electrical engineer who inspired her belief that everyone can pursue their dreams regardless of gender. Looking ahead, she aims to establish her own company to cultivate a supportive environment that empowers individuals and fosters trust and confidence among team members.
