Mr. Maneclang's career began with a notable 20-year service in the U.S. Navy, where he held positions as an aviation machinist mate first class from 1973 to 1980 and a supply officer between 1980 and 1993. His military service laid the foundation for his subsequent civilian career, providing him with invaluable experience and exposure to naval and civilian spheres.
Born in Dagupan City, Philippines, Mr. Maneclang later studied at the University of La Verne, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in business management in 1979. Subsequently, he received a Master of Business Administration in business management on campus in 1987. Additionally, Mr. Maneclang received a Master of Science in Logistics from National University in 1988. His education has been pivotal in his career success, equipping him with the knowledge and skills necessary for his roles and achieving Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML) certification from the Society of Logistics Engineers (now The International Society of Logistics).
Mr. Maneclang is an active member of several industry-related organizations, including the Military Officers Association of America, DAV California and the Filipino American Military Officers Association. His commitment to civic engagement is evident through his involvement as a water filtration engineer contributor for Sola Gratia for over a decade and as a volunteer with Mission East Asian National Support during the same period.
In 1989, the U.S. Navy awarded Mr. Maneclang the Captain Edward F. Ney Memorial Award for community service. Eager to remain active locally, he aims to prioritize his retirement well-being while continuing his involvement in serving Filipino reverends and the underprivileged, which he has already been doing for over a decade.
