Since 2021, she has been instrumental in managing content and digital marketing, thought leadership and advocacy for language education and multilingualism in the U.S. Her role also involves advocating with government entities and commercial organizations, managing a sales team focused on language education in the U.S. and expanding operations in Latin America. Ms. Jaros-White's career progression is a testament to her dedication and perseverance, having achieved significant milestones despite not having a traditional background in marketing.
Before joining her organization, Ms. Jaros-White held various roles at Pearson, one of the world's largest publishing companies. From 2016 to 2021, she was the field and product marketing manager, where she honed her skills in promoting English language testing materials. She also oversaw a substantial list of titles as a publisher and product manager for ELT higher education between 2012 and 2016. In 2013, she was a MyEnglishLab digital content team product owner. Ms. Jaros-White's earlier roles at Pearson included senior development editor from 2010 to 2011, development editor between 2006 and 2010, associate editor from 2005 to 2006, assistant editor for the Longman Academic Series between 2004 to 2005 and editorial assistant at Pearson Prentice Hall from 2003 to 2004.
In preparation for her future, Ms. Jaros-White received a Bachelor of Arts in applied linguistics, summa cum laude, and a Master of Arts in applied linguistics from Montclair State University. Additionally, she completed coursework in English philology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland and received several sales and digital marketing certifications through Kellogg Executive Education and Coursera Inc.
Ms. Jaros-White's professional journey is further enriched by her memberships in industry-related organizations, such as the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), the Joint National Committee for Languages (JNCL)and the Association for Career & Technical Education (ACTE). She has recently joined the advisory board of the linguistic department at Montclair State University.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Jaros-White is actively engaged in civic-minded organizations. She serves as the co-president of the Glen Ridge Music Parents Association and has served on the executive board of the Polish American Folk Dance Company (PAFDC). Her volunteer work includes tutoring with TutorMate and supporting community initiatives like St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Tony's Kitchen. Additionally, Ms. Jaros-White has contributed creatively as a dancer with the Polish American Folk Dance Company and as a translator for the "Word by Word Picture Dictionary English-Polish" published in 2007.
Ms. Jaros-White is exploring opportunities to enroll in a Master of Business Administration program to advance her career further.
