Erika Molina manages aftersales strategies as a global executive at General Motors

Before obtaining her role with REE, Ms. Molina managed global aftersales strategy, deliverables development, and more as the director of global aftersales readiness and information engineering at General Motors, leading teams in the North and South Americas, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. Over the years, she excelled with General Motors in numerous roles, including director of global aftersales mechanical engineering, director of aftersales engineering for South America, manager of aftersales engineering, supply chain coordinator and supervisor, and team leader for the customer call center. Throughout her tenure with General Motors, she successfully achieved the launch readiness for thousands of vehicle programs for aftersales engineering globally, great optimization of structure costs and resources, and promoted high engagement of her teams. During the early stages of her career, Ms. Molina gained valuable expertise as an engineer and senior engineer with IOCHPE-MAXION and as a trainee with Ergo Engenharia.

Ms. Molina's expertise is underpinned by her extensive education. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in automotive mechanical engineering from FEI, a postgraduate degree in industrial administration from USP - Fundação Vanzolini, an executive MBA in business administration and management from a Business School in São Paulo, and an executive MBA in managing a global economy from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. This diverse educational background has equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the automotive industry.

Ms. Molina's contributions extend beyond her professional endeavors. She has actively participated in various initiatives at General Motors, including women's groups and Latino Employee Resource Groups. As a leader, she has served on the board of directors for Instituto General Motors do Brasil, chaired the General Motors Women Customer Facing Team, and served as a customer care and aftersales diversity, equity, and inclusion executive sponsor. Her commitment to diversity and community initiatives is truly inspiring.

Given her outstanding achievements, Ms. Molina received the Global Women's Envoy Award from the National Association for Female Executives. While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in serving as chair of the Women's Customer Facing Team and the Women Employee Resource Group at General Motors.
