HURRICANE, UT, December 18, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cheli Chimaine Webb, CMHC, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mrs. Cheli, a distinguished clinical mental health counselor, has dedicated over 25 years to the field of mental health, substance use and trauma therapy. As the founder and chief executive officer of three companies over the past two and a half decades, including Pathway to Empowerment, she can reach more people throughout the world instead of just locally. She is also proficient in life coaching and consulting. Her role includes running residential facilities, helping companies increase productivity and solidify their teams and offering customizable therapy and coaching sessions. Additionally, she conducts speaking engagements and offers three specialized courses aimed at fostering self-discovery, healing and strength among her clients.
Reflecting on her career, Mrs. Webb is very proud to be the first in her family to attend college. She also takes pride in her dedication to training police officers in recognizing and addressing mental health disorders. She is an active member of the National Counselor Examination Board under the National Board for Certified Counselors Inc., as well as a member of POCA.
Before founding Pathway to Empowerment, Mrs. Webb pursued an extensive academic journey that laid the foundation for her professional success. She earned a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Prescott College in 2009 and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Southern Utah University in 2005. Additionally, she completed coursework in nursing at Utah Tech University. Her academic background is complemented by certifications as a clinical mental health counselor from the State of Utah and an EMDR certification.
Mrs. Webb's passion for mental health was influenced by her initial studies in nursing, which she later shifted to psychology to better align with her personal goals and family life. She has further contributed to her field as an author with two notable publications: "Walking Through the Worst of It" and "The Girl Who Couldn't Cry: A Healing Journey Through Trauma." She attributes her overall success to her belief that every person needs to be and feel loved.
Outside of her career, Mrs. Webb enjoys baking specialty cakes, practicing yoga, meditating, spending time with her family and taking biannual vacations to immerse herself in different cultures. Looking ahead, she aims to revolutionize treatment approaches for first responders by creating programs that address the unique traumas they encounter daily.
