Mr. Davis has dedicated nearly five decades to the finance and investment industry, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the field with expertise in taking companies public, primary and secondary offerings, institutional sales and more. He began his career in finance in 1975 when he obtained his Series 7 certification with Merrill Lynch. Encouraged by colleagues at Merrill Lynch, he pursued a career as a stockbroker, which he found both fortuitous and fulfilling. Over the years, in addition to Merrill Lynch, Mr. Davis has held significant roles at several notable companies including Morgan Stanley, Dillon Read, Montgomery Securities and Oppenheimer.
Mr. Davis now serves as the Managing Partner of RD Creative Group, LLC, the entity that controls his business interests. From 2013 to the present, he was a Managing Director at McAlinden Research Partners, where he participated in identifying thematic investment ideas, poised to outperform the S&P 500.
From 2010 to 2016, he also served as an independent director and audit committee member, on the Board of Directors at FXCM Inc, an FX currency trading company. He was a Managing Director at Banc of America Securities from 1995 to 2004.
Mr. Davis is a long-time member of the Hedge Funds Association and in 1998 founded "Hedge Funds Care / Help for Children," a charity that is dedicated to preventing child abuse and providing treatment to those who have been victimized - www.HFC.org. Since inception HFC has donated more than $62 million through more than 1,500 grants to organizations wing a laser focus on. As the Founder & Chairman Emeritus of HFC, Mr. Davis has positively effected the lives of literally thousands of children and families, making him an easy choice for this Marquis Who's Who selection.
When he first started HFC Mr. Davis arranged collaborations with Columbia University's School of Social Work, the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration, the University of California, Berkeley, School of Social Welfare and Emory University, to assist in reviewing proposals and selecting the best programs in their communities to fund, and also to assist HFC with evaluating how effective those grantees ultimately were in utilizing the funds provided by HFC. According to those institutions, HFC was groundbreaking as the only charity to ever seek such a relationship, with the result that the quality of data received by HFC has been excellent from the start, by any measure. Through this work, Mr. Davis continues to be a warrior in the quest to protect children from the ravaging effects of child abuse and neglect.

Following graduation from Freeport High School in 1963, Mr. Davis attended The State University of New York at New Paltz, in the class of "67." While attending, Rob was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Fraternity, where he made life-long friends. He also played on the 1965 New Paltz Hawks Soccer Team, which became the N.C.A.A. Atlantic Coast Regional Champions. Rob also performed in plays produced by the Theater Department. His academic major was Speech & Theater Arts. All students had to declare either an Elementary or High School focus for the teaching aspect of their degree. Rob's chose elementary, so upon graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree, he also received a Permanent Certificate in Elementary School Teaching. All in all, Mr. Davis' diverse interests and dedication to both his career and personal development, exemplified a well-rounded individual committed to making a positive impact.
