Margaret Helen Farris is a learning specialist and curriculum fellow at Achievement First Crown Heights Elementary School, a public charter school in Brooklyn, New York. Her early struggles as a student with dyslexia sparked her interest in education, and her own academic journey led her to pursue a career in teaching. She holds a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Skidmore College and completed a Master of Arts in literacy and reading education at New York University in 2011.
