Mr. Ramani, an accomplished scientist at Inhibrx Biosciences Inc., has dedicated more than a decade to the field of bioanalytics & immuno-oncology. In this capacity, he works to push the boundaries of scientific research. His expertise and contributions have significantly impacted the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Ramani's journey in this domain began with a personal tragedy that deeply influenced his career path. The loss of his grandmother and his mother's sister-in-law to breast cancer in the 1990s instilled in him a profound desire to make a difference in medicine.

To date, he has contributed to the development of two cancer therapies that have received FDA approval: Kadcyla, a treatment for HER2-positive breast cancer, and Elahere, which is used to treat folate receptor-alpha (FRɑ) positive ovarian, fallopian tube, and primary peritoneal cancers.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Ramani served in multiple capacities throughout the field of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, including as senior scientist at KCAS Bioanalytical & Biomarker Services. Previously, he was active as a researcher at PPD, ImmunoGen Inc., Shire HGT, and Selecta Biosciences, beginning in 2011.
Before taking his first steps into the industry, Mr. Ramani studied pharmaceutical sciences at Mumbai University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science. Following this accomplishment, and his relocation to the United States, he received a Master of Science in biotechnology at Northeastern University. In the subsequent years, he has attributed his success to perseverance and determination, qualities that have helped him overcome numerous challenges throughout his career.
Mr. Ramani is also a member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, reflecting his commitment to staying connected with industry advancements and contributing to the scientific community. One of his most notable achievements has been co-authoring "The Introduction to the Bioanalysis of Biopharmaceuticals," a book aimed at providing practical insights into industry practices for university students. This work was motivated by his own experiences during graduate school when he found available information predominantly theoretical.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Ramani has a passion for surfing, swimming, kayaking, yoga, and meditation. Lately, much of his personal time is devoted to his wife and nearly two-year-old son. He is committed to maintaining a balanced lifestyle, fostering his professional growth, and nurturing both his physical and mental well-being, all while being fully present for his family.
Looking ahead, Mr. Ramani aspires to further advance the field of immuno-oncology, playing a pivotal role in the development and approval of innovative therapies that can improve patient outcomes on a global scale. While he finds deep fulfillment in making a tangible difference in people's lives, his vision for his son's future is even more ambitious.
