Dr. Saad's earlier roles included projects manager at Peddle Thorp Architect from 2008 to 2011 and project manager at Lahmeyer International between 2001 and 2008. Dr. Saad began his career as a resident engineer with Hyder Consulting from 1996 to 2000, and Dr. M.H. Ali El Saie Consulting Engineers between 1993 and 1996.
Dr. Saad's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Cairo University in Egypt, a Master of Business Administration in project management from International University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in construction and project management from Baytown University in Houston. Additionally, he received credentials as a certified cost professional through the American Association of Cost Engineering International and several certifications in data science fundamentals and environmental social governance specialization from the Corporate Finance Institute.
