SANTA FE, NM, January 03, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Vijali Hamilton, MFA, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

For nearly 40 years, Ms. Hamilton has served as the founding director of the World Wheel Center for Wisdom, Arts and Life. Her career is marked by her profound expertise in cultivating peace, preserving indigenous cultures, art, fine art, contemporary art, film, creative writing, sculpture and theatre. Ms. Hamilton's dedication to these fields has been recognized through numerous accomplishments, including the innovative development of the World Wheel and the World Family concepts. These initiatives emphasize the importance of education in preserving cultural knowledge and empowering young individuals to maintain their languages and heritage.

Ultimately, this vision materialized into the World Wheel project, which aims to foster meaningful dialogue and promote positive change within these communities. Together with her team, Ms. Hamilton is dedicated to promoting the global mission of World Wheel Inc., which reflects a shared universal spirit. What initially sparked her professional journey was a dream that led her to connect with diverse communities worldwide through art.

Along with establishing World Wheel, Ms. Hamilton's commitment to this universal cause was further demonstrated by her role as founder of the Theater of the Earth during the same year, in 1986. To date, she has visited 20 countries, often initiating grassroots organizations to empower locals and help sustain the work after she leaves, and shares her experiences through films on her YouTube channel. Through her travels, Ms. Hamilton has engaged in art initiatives that address community needs and has contributed significantly to global education efforts, such as helping build village schools in India in 1991 and 2020 and for the Shuar tribe in the Amazon from 2000 to 2008.

As a result of her artistic contributions and talents, Ms. Hamilton was invited by Frank Lloyd Wright's family to create an environmental sculpture and performance on their property for the first site of the World Wheel circling the planet. One of her films about the World Wheel was voted "best documentary" during her career. Her creative pursuits also extend to music composition and producing documentary films, both of which reflect her commitment to global peace and understanding. In tandem with her diverse artistic practices, Ms. Hamilton, in her youth, was involved with the Vedanta Society, which reflects her deep spiritual foundation and commitment to embracing diverse perspectives, she cites this spiritual journey as being integral to her success, as it has guided her efforts to support and honor all religions while fostering unity over division.

Ms. Hamilton holds a Master of Fine Arts in environmental sculpture from Goddard College and completed coursework in anthropology at Sir George Williams University, now Concordia University. Along with her vast and diverse experience, her academic achievements have played a crucial role in shaping her career and artistic endeavors, providing her with the skills and knowledge necessary to engage with communities globally. In addition to her aforementioned professional achievements and pursuits, Ms. Hamilton is a fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science, and an accomplished writer and musician who has authored "Wheel of the World, One Woman's Journey for Global Peace" along with five other books and numerous professional journals.

In her free time, Ms. Hamilton enjoys dancing, singing, reading books, writing, meditating, and being in nature. She envisions a world where all can unite as a global family, contributing to greater harmony and connection throughout her life. All in all, Ms. Hamilton's personal interests align with her professional goals as she continues to promote peace and understanding among diverse cultures and communities worldwide.
