The company, founded by her grandfather in 1973, was originally known as Pollard Heating before her father acquired it in 1993 and renamed it Kings Heating after a family nickname. She and her brother are currently transitioning to full ownership of the business, aiming to uphold their family's legacy while introducing innovative ideas for growth. Her previous roles as a personal stylist at Nordstrom and a paralegal provided her with valuable customer service, sales, organizational and research skills that she now applies to her current position.
While her career counts many milestones, she is especially proud to have overcome her hesitation to take on a leadership position and has been rewarded with newfound confidence in both of her roles. She attributes much of her success to the integrity and perseverance demonstrated by her parents, who instilled in her a strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Pollard is actively involved with civic-minded organizations such as the Snohomish County Boys and Girls Club. Her dedication to community engagement is further exemplified by her company's efforts to sponsor local schools and increase its presence in areas with historical ties. In 2024, she and her family were recognized for their creativity with an award from HVACR Business Magazine for outstanding graphic design in the Tops in Trucks Fleet Design Contest.
Outside of her career, Ms. Pollard enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. Looking to the future, she is focused on expanding Kings Heating, Air and Electric by launching an apprenticeship platform for training installers and service technicians. This program aims to provide opportunities for individuals who excel in hands-on roles but may not pursue traditional college paths. She also aims to enhance the company's community engagement through sponsorships and fostering connections within neighborhoods where the company has historical roots.
