Before that, he served as a Specialist IS Automation Engineer, focusing on integrating critical technologies into Amgen's operations and providing meaning full data and results to Amgen operations, supporting local projects in his previous Amgen site in Rhode Island and Woburn, MA. His journey at Amgen began as a Senior IS Engineer in 2018, where he quickly established himself as a valuable team member through his dedication and technical acumen. Mr. Menendez Saa attributes his success at Amgen to the exceptional leadership of his leaders, managers, and directors. Before joining Amgen, Mr. Menendez Saa spent nine years supporting the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) as a Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer. In this role, he specialized in Automation and Electrical design, critical operation data collection, supporting power plants across Puerto Rico while collaborating on projects throughout Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. His work significantly enhanced energy production efficiency and reliability in these regions.
Mr. Menendez Saa's educational background laid a strong foundation for his successful career. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2021 and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico in 2009. Additionally, he completed coursework in Electrical and Electronics engineering at Pennsylvania State University in 2009.
