Dr. Dalia is a distinguished senior physician who has taken a holistic approach to medicine through her role at The MetroHealth System since 2022. Specializing in geriatrics, she focuses on cognitive impairments, including dementia, mild cognitive impairments and the worsening of cognition, such as delirium. She notably sees her patients for long-term care, primary care and comprehensive geriatric assessments. Additionally, Dr. Dalia provides care in skilled nursing facilities and conducts inpatient geriatric consults for changes in mentation, fall assessments and objective and subjective examinations. She served as chair of the direct practice committee on the Ohio Attorney General's Elder Abuse Commission, was chair of delirium management, and actively worked in patient safety and quality improvement.

Having begun her career in India, Dr. Dalia was a junior resident and clinical tutor at the Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences and Research from 2012 to 2013. She then served as a clinical tutor and research fellow at Saint George's University in Grenada between 2013 and 2015. Dr. Dalia next participated with Medical Yatra, a humanitarian mission organized under the umbrella of Association of Indian Physicians of Northern Ohio in India for elderly care. In 2016, Dr. Dalia excelled as a global clinical observer at the Cleveland Clinic before becoming an extern at the Heart and Vascular Institute at the Detroit Medical Center between 2016 and 2017.
Dr. Dalia received diplomas from Dayanand Model School in 2004 and Swami Sant Dass Public School in 2006. Subsequently, she received a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in 2012 and a Doctor of Medicine from Saint Vincent Charity Medical Center in 2020. Additional educational pursuits to Dr. Dalia's credit include an internship and residency and internship at the Saint Vincent Charity Medical Center and a fellowship in geriatric medicine from The MetroHealth System in Ohio. She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She also holds certification in full medical registration from the Punjab Medical Council in India and a postgraduate certification in medical education from Saint George's University in Grenada.
Dr. Dalia is actively involved in various professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Geriatrics Society and the American Medical Association. She also serves as the secretary of the Ohio Geriatrics Society and chairs a subdivision focused on elder care for the Ohio Attorney General's Elder Abuse Commission. As a dedicated civil advocate, Dr. Dalia has served as an event organizer for the Punjab State Cardiology Summitt since 2011, a medical officer at Pulse Polio in India since 2011 and as a medical officer on behalf of the American Medical Student Association since 2014.
In light of her professional accomplishments, Dr. Dalia has been recognized among the Best Doctors by Cleveland Magazine in 2024. She previously received several accolades during college.
Looking ahead, Dr. Dalia aims to advance her work in geriatric care through more research and innovative approaches to improving health outcomes for older adults. She also plans to continue mentoring the next generation of physicians, focusing on empathy and the social aspects of elderly care.
