CHICAGO, January 17, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present John Patrick Bobek with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Bobek celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

For over 50 years, Mr. Bobek has been dedicated to the teaching profession. Initially joining the Archdiocese of Chicago in 1971, he was subsequently hired by Saint Daniel the Prophet School to teach junior high school classes to seventh- and eighth-grade students in earth science, life science, biology, religion, and art. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Bobek has also served as the science department chair, science fair coordinator, chess club moderator, games club moderator, and school newspaper editor.

Among other commitments, Mr. Bobek has been a longtime flag football coach at Saint Daniel the Prophet since 1975. He also coached basketball on campus from 1976 to 1977 and was the athletic director from 2012 to 2022. Additionally, Mr. Bobeck is a co-administrator for his school alumni and faculty Facebook page.

Motivated by his faith, Mr. Bobek gets the most satisfaction from teaching his students how to be good people. Relying on his sense of humor, he strives to laugh at their mistakes as they continue to grow as individuals. Mr. Bobek also makes an extensive effort to help his school become more vibrant and maintain standards.

Mr. Bobek authored his first book in 2007, "The Games of War: A Treasury of Rules for Battles with Toy Soldiers, Ships and Planes." The book encompasses 39 sets of rules for playing games with miniatures. Mr. Bobek aims to author a faith-based book for individuals, catering to those who are not necessarily religious but would like a closer relationship with God.
