Mr. Fight's journey in agriculture began with CEA Fresh Farms, an Atlanta-based food and beverage manufacturing company, as the founder, chief executive officer, and chairperson from 2014 to 2021, leading the company through significant growth phases. Before his ventures into agriculture, he held significant roles in communications and media as the managing partner, chief executive officer, and director at Double Diamond Partners LLC, a boutique investment company, from 1999 to 2017, working in a hybrid capacity. Mr. Fight also served as the executive vice president, director, and chief financial officer at Malrite Communications Group Inc. from 1989 to 1999.

In preparation for his career, Mr. Fight attended Ball State University in Indiana, earning a Bachelor of Science in finance and marketing in 1980. He also completed coursework at the University of Maryland.

Mr. Fight's expertise in sustainable agriculture has been recognized through his active participation in industry-related organizations, such as the Coalition for Sustainable and the Controlled Environment Agriculture Global Association. Outside of his professional affiliations, he has been active civically through participation with Recovery Resources.

Attributing his success to his passion for learning, perseverance, and viewing each day as an opportunity for growth, Mr. Fight's initial interest in agriculture stems from his upbringing on a dairy farm in Indiana. Although he ventured into communications and media for approximately two decades, his connection to agriculture remained strong, ultimately guiding him back to the industry with a vision to address current challenges within food systems.
