GERMANTOWN, TN, January 26, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Kathy Tuberville has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. A seasoned educator with decades of industry experience, Dr. Tuberville excels as an associate professor of teaching and the director of the Fogelman Women Leadership Programs at the University of Memphis' Fogelman College of Business and Economics. In this capacity, she manages two tracks: a student track where they run programming for female students regarding effective leadership and a professional track that helps women in the community become better leaders at a local level. Before obtaining her current role at the University of Memphis, Dr. Tuberville was an assistant teaching professor, faculty director of Fogelman Experiential Learning, Avron B. Fogelman Professional Development Center, and assistant director of academic internships.

Over the years, Dr. Tuberville gained valuable education and educational administration expertise at Crichton College and the University of Memphis. During the early stages of her career, she also honed her marketing, advertising, and management skills through various roles with Smith and Nephew, John Malmo Advertising, Varsity Spirit Fashions, Kelly Manufacturing, Conwood Corporation, and MLGW. Due to her vast knowledge, Dr. Tuberville has contributed to multiple books, journal publications, and conference presentations, including "Preparing Students for Accounting Careers Through Collaborative Partnerships with Regional CPA Firms," "Your Leadership Journey: Driving Leadership Success Through Purpose and Passion," "Want sustainable and inclusive internship results? Start with Onboarding," and "The 3 M's of Effective Experiential Learning Programs - Metrics, Methods, and Mastery."

An expert in her field, Dr. Tuberville holds a Bachelor of Science in education and a Master of Science in management from the University of Memphis, an EdD in human resource management and organizational leadership from Northcentral University, a Women in Leadership certification from Cornell University, and several certifications through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the American Psychological Association, and Behavioral Technologies.

Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Tuberville aligns herself with Kappa Delta Pi, Sigma Phi Beta, and the Memphis chapter of SHRM. In conjunction with her work, she also contributes to the DeNeuville Learning Center for Women and the executive council of CityCurrent. In light of her outstanding achievements, she has been nominated for awards through the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the University of Memphis. Likewise, Dr. Tuberville has also earned the National Advisor Impact Award from SHRM, a Creative and Engaged Teaching Award, the Teaching Beyond the Classroom Award, and the George Johnson Teaching Fellowship from the University of Memphis Fogelman College of Business and Economics, and an Award for Excellence in Service to Students from The National Leadership and Success Society.

While her career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Tuberville takes the most pride in earning two prestigious awards based on student nominations. Though hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, she credits her success to her husband's and community's support. In the coming years, Dr. Tuberville aims to support women's development.
