He also worked as a project engineer for the organization between 2004 and 2006. In between those years, Mr. Quinton honed his leadership skills as the director of operations for the North and South America region at Jendamark Automation Pty. Ltd., an automation machinery manufacturing company, between 2015 and 2016, as the general manager of the coil division at Colcoil Technologies from 2013 to 2014, and as the director at S4 Integration between 2012 and 2013. Moreover, he demonstrated his adeptness in business management as the managing director at Mosmech Engineering from 2006 to 2012. Mr. Quinton's early career trajectory includes working as a senior project engineer at General Motors from 2001 to 2004 and as a senior project engineer at Tenneco Inc., dating back to 1991.

As part of his extensive background, Mr. Quinton owned a thriving manufacturing company in South Africa. In light of his success, the business earned two Supply Excellence Awards from Tenneco Automotive in 2010.

The foundation of Mr. Quinton's success can be traced back to his academic achievements. He earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Nelson Mandela University in 1996.
