Mr. Forte is a distinguished partner at Lonardo Forte and Trudeau LLP and has established a successful tenure in the legal profession. His career began at Olenn and Penza LLP, where he served as an attorney from 2008 through 2018 when he was elevated to partner. During this period, he capably handled complex legal matters, including attorney malpractice defense and receivership work. Mr. Forte's expertise extended to class action employee benefit cases that reflected his innate ability to navigate intricate legal challenges.

A range of diverse concurrent activities further defines Mr. Forte's profile. In 2017, he accepted a position as legal counsel for the Rhode Island Senate Committee on Rules, Government Ethics and Oversight , a position he thrived in until 2020.  Thereafter, in 2021, Mr. Forte was appointed as legal counsel for the Rhode Island Senate Committee on Finance, and ever since, he has played a pivotal role in the annual adoption of the state budget. He also served with the Cranston Municipal Court, first at the rank of associate judge from 2019 to 2021 and then as a senior associate judge. Since 2022, he has provided legal acumen as municipal court judge for the town of Tiverton.

One of Mr. Forte's most significant career achievements came in 2012 when he collaboratively developed a methodology for resolving pension cases involving public employees across Rhode Island. His team's efforts prevented a potential path to bankruptcy for several municipalities and alleviated financial strains for retirees and taxpayers alike. Mr. Forte's role in this endeavor reflects his unwavering professionalism and deep commitment to the public interest.

Beyond his thriving legal practice, Mr. Forte is an esteemed educator, serving as an assistant professor of accounting and business law at Nichols College since 2021 and as a practitioner adjunct faculty at Roger Williams University since 2012. Mr. Forte's focus on education is paralleled by his passion for soccer, where he has made his mark as a professional-level soccer referee.

Mr. Forte's academic foundation is robust. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Providence College in 2004, after which he pursued graduate studies to earn a Master of Business Administration from Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk University in 2008. That same year, he proudly finished a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School before progressing toward additional graduate work. Mr. Forte completed a Doctorate in business administration from the University of Rhode Island in 2023, and he is also a certified fraud examiner (CFE) and certified public accountant (CPA).

Numerous accolades have marked Mr. Forte's career milestones thus far, including being consecutively designated a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2011 through 2022 and being named to the Top 40 Under 40 compilation of the National Trial Lawyers in 2012. Notably, Mr. Forte was also included on the list of Rhode Island Super Lawyers, disseminated by Super Lawyers, a Thompson-Reuters business, in 2023.
