Since joining ZT Systems in 2011 as a thermal engineer, Dr. Lin has been instrumental in advancing thermal and fan control technology. His innovative work has resulted in a remarkable 20 patents, including those for server platform thermal control systems and power-saving fan control mechanisms. These innovations have notably impacted major clients such as Amazon and Microsoft by achieving over 10 percent additional power savings in data centers. Prior to his tenure at ZT, he served as a senior thermal engineer at Inventec in 2007, where he honed his skills in developing cutting-edge thermal solutions.

Dr. Lin's academic career includes a notable period as a visiting research assistant professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2011. During this time, he published seven journal papers and developed a theoretical model for actual compassion that is set to be included in future textbooks. His academic achievements are further underscored by his membership in the Phi Tau Phi Honor Society.

Dr. Lin laid a strong foundation for his successful career through his educational background, during which he earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from National Central University in Taiwan in 2007. This strong academic grounding has been integral to his professional accomplishments, allowing him to apply theoretical knowledge creatively to practical challenges.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Lin is actively involved with the North New Jersey Taiwanese Association, reflecting his commitment to civic engagement.
