Working alongside his business partner, an interior designer, Mr. Schaub is among five members of the firm, all of whom strive to provide comprehensive services to clients, specializing in new construction and remodels and explicitly focusing on kitchen and bathroom renovations. Additionally, he and his team undertake select design-build projects and offer various products, including cabinets, countertops, lighting, window treatments, and flooring, to other builders.

Having begun his career in architecture as an intern architect at Cornerstone Architects in 1989, Mr. Schaub progressed into a full-time position as a project architect at Jeckering Architects, where he worked from 1991 to 1994. Following this, he served as a construction supervisor and estimator at Hall Homes between 1994 and 1996, gaining valuable experience in construction management. Furthermore, Mr. Schaub found success in leadership as the managing partner and project architect at Arcanum Architects LLC from 1996 to 2003. He then established his practice, Chestnut Street Studio, where he worked as a sole practitioner. Moreover, Mr. Schaub excelled with Architects Plus (now Luminaut), an architecture and planning firm in Cincinnati, as a partner, where he focused primarily on residential projects until 2018.

In addition to his professional practice, Mr. Schaub has contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, in the college of architecture and environmental design in 2015.

Mr. Schaub's educational background includes a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati in 1989 and a Master of Business Administration from the Jack Welch Management Institute in 2017. His academic achievements have been instrumental in his success, providing a solid foundation in architectural theory and business management. Furthermore, Mr. Schaub is certified as a LEED AP+HOMES by the U.S. Green Building Council, a designation that supports his commitment to sustainable design practices.
