Dr. Reznik is a distinguished professional in the field of physical therapy and wellness. She is the owner of the Reznik Focus Center, a groundbreaking wellness center established in 2022. With over 20 years of experience in her profession, Dr. Reznik has made significant contributions to the field, particularly in addressing the needs of communities in medical deserts.

Prior to founding the Reznik Focus Center, Dr. Reznik served in various roles at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Initially working as an adjunct faculty member with the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, she went on to avail herself as an assistant professor and assistant director of clinical education, after which she advanced to become the director and chair of the physical therapist assistant program. Additionally, she was a professor and director of the physical therapist assistant program at Odessa College from 2012 to 2017.

Dr. Reznik's career also includes practical experience as a physical therapist and clinical care coordinator at Encompass Home Health from 2011 to 2013. She previously worked as a physical therapist at Permian Basin Rehab Center and at Advanced Home Health Services, where she received an Integrity Award. Earlier in her career, she held positions at Warm Springs in 2007 and Midland Memorial Hospital in 2005.

Dr. Reznik's expertise in higher education is well-recognized. To remain aware of developments in the field, she is a member of several organizations, including the American Physical Therapy Association and the Texas Physical Therapy Association. Outside of her professional efforts, she is also affiliated with Toastmasters International, the supervisory board of Complex Community Federal Credit Union and Kinesio Taping International.

Dr. Reznik's academic achievements have been instrumental in her professional success. She initially studied movement science at Texas Christian University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1998. Following this accomplishment, she earned a Master of Science in physical therapy from Texas State University in 2002 and a PhD in physical therapy from Hardin-Simmons University in 2008.

In addition to her degrees, Dr. Reznik has obtained certifications that enhance her practice. She became a certified practitioner through IASIS Technologies in 2022 and received mental health first aid certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in 2021. Her journey into neurofeedback was deeply personal; after losing her husband to COVID-19 and experiencing significant emotional distress, she found relief through neurofeedback therapy. This experience inspired her to bring these services to her community.

Outside of her professional efforts, Dr. Reznik was involved with The Well, a mental wellness community, from 2015 to 2022. On a personal level, she enjoys spending time with her children and engaging in activities like walking with her dogs, kettlebell exercise, and road cycling. Looking ahead, Dr. Reznik aims to expand her impact by opening additional focus centers and establishing a multicenter private practice dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for her community.
