After more than 30 years serving his country, Mr. Lewis became the president of LES LLC in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, in 2023. Marking the latest chapter in his distinguished career, he is primarily responsible for marketing the business and assisting clients by providing expertise in environmental compliance and government services.

Before establishing LES LLC, Mr. Lewis amassed extensive experience in environmental management within the military. His career began as an environmental engineer intern at U.S. Army Fort Devens in Harvard, Massachusetts, from 1987 to 1989. Following this initial role, he undertook various significant roles focusing on environmental management and compliance. Among them, Mr. Lewis served as an HW program manager for the U.S. Army from 1989 to 1991, an HW and installation restoration program manager for the U.S. Navy between 1991 and 2010, and as a solid and hazardous waste program manager and chief of environmental management at 628 CES/CEIE for the United States Air Force between 2010 to 2016 and between 2016 to 2023, respectively. Throughout his 40 years of service, Mr. Lewis made meaningful contributions toward ensuring the smooth functioning and growth of military bases and environmental compliance. His expertise and efforts notably helped prevent potential issues and kept the bases out of trouble.

Mr. Lewis is highly educated. He received a Bachelor of Science in bioengineering in 1984 and a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering in 1986 from Mississippi State University. Additionally, he has held a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix since 2002.

Throughout his career in the industry, Mr. Lewis's expertise in environmental compliance and government services has been recognized by his peers and industry professionals alike. Most notably, he is a prominent member of the Society of American Military Engineers, underscoring his commitment to excellence in his field.
