As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Mukanovic is a distinguished lead design engineer at ATandT, where he has dedicated over 10 years to the field of radio access network and distributed antenna systems design. His expertise in designing cellular networks for large venues and special events, such as concerts and universities, has made him a valuable asset to the company. Additionally, he currently serves on a committee for the 2026 World Cup, focusing on capacity analysis to ensure sufficient stadium capacity for the Boston area and consistent phone signal and service on demand.

Mr. Mukanovic's career began in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1996, where he played a crucial role in the government's decision to introduce solar coverage. This initiative marked the beginning of his journey in the telecommunications industry. After moving to the United States in 2001, he pursued his passion for engineering and re-established his career in the following years.

Mr. Mukanovic's professional journey in the U.S. started as a field service manager at DISH Network L.L.C. from 2004 to 2008. He then transitioned to Westell Technologies Inc., where he served as an RF DAS design engineer from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, he joined ATandT as a professional radio access network distributed antenna systems design engineer, a role he held until 2017 when he was promoted to a senior engineer position in the same department. In 2024, he advanced to his current position as lead radio access network distributed antenna systems design engineer.

Mr. Mukanovic's academic background includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University, obtained in 2020, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering technology from the University of New Hampshire, completed in 2010. He attributes his overall professional success to his business-oriented approach to problem-solving, which is highly valued and promoted by ATandT.

Throughout his career, Mr. Mukanovic is most proud of designing the Gillette Stadium, Buffalo Bills' Highmark Stadium and the Harvard University Hospital, each project valued in the millions of dollars. He is also proud of filing a patent through ATandT, which is still pending. Given the specialized nature of his work, only around 100 individuals at ATandT and approximately 500 people nationwide handle such complex tasks for customers.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Mukanovic is an active member of several industry-related organizations, including the IEEE, the Ohio University Alumni Association and the University of New Hampshire Alumni Association. He also volunteers at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Mukanovic enjoys watching comedies, playing golf and spending time with his family. Looking ahead, he is committed to pursuing opportunities at ATandT where he can leverage his expertise in electrical engineering to contribute to impactful projects. His objective is to advance into a managerial role while continuing to nurture his passion for his work.
