Mr. Cropper is an established figure in the music industry who has made significant contributions as a singer, musician, composer, producer and engineer. As the owner and operator of Studio C Recording and Production in Oakland, California, since 2017, he has collaborated with a team of like-minded creative professionals to bring musicians' sounds and vision to life. His expertise spans studio recording, production, music production and songwriting.

Mr. Cropper's career began as a founding member and guitarist of the rock band Weezer. From 1990 to 1993, he was pivotal in creating "The Blue Album" under the David Geffen Company. This period was marked by his collaboration with Rick Ocasek, whose kindness and support left a lasting impression on Mr. Cropper. Despite facing numerous challenges, including creative differences and business complexities, Mr. Ocasek's guidance profoundly impacted Mr. Cropper's professional approach and personal perspective.

Following his tenure with Weezer, Mr. Cropper continued his journey as a recording artist with Restless Records from 1995 to 1997, producing several independent albums. He then transitioned to the role of traffic manager at the renowned Ocean Way Recording Studios and Classic Equipment Rentals between 1997 and 2008, where he was responsible for managing the equipment rental division. His career further evolved when he became an account manager at GC Pro, Guitar Center Inc., from 2008 to 2011, as a top 10 performer in sales. Subsequently, Mr. Cropper worked in sales at Vintage King Audio between 2011 and 2021 before fully dedicating himself to Studio C Recording and Production.

Mr. Cropper graduated from Santa Rosa High School in Santa Rosa, California, in 1989 and later completed coursework at Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California, in 2005. During these influential years, his parents fostered his love for the arts by encouraging him to participate in various forms of creative expression. This early immersion in the arts led Mr. Cropper to Los Angeles, where he met his future bandmates and formed Weezer in 1992.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Cropper is an active member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and Broadcast Music Inc. He also engages in community activities and is dedicated to assisting creative musicians in realizing their artistic visions.
