LINCOLN, NE, February 07, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jodi A. Theye, RN, BSN, RPSGT, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Theye has established herself as a dedicated and skilled professional in the field of nursing for over twenty years. Most recently she worked as an Operating Room circulating RN in a Pain Specialty Center. On procedure days she was responsible for making sure the operating rooms were prepared for all procedures to be done that day, ensured all necessary supplies were available, and oversaw each case. She also worked in the clinic as a lead nurse on nonprocedure days, handling phone triage and in-clinic sedation.

Ms. Theye's long career has allowed her to contribute her expertise to a variety of areas in nursing. She has five years of critical care experience and more than ten years of clinic/triage experience focused on cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, and pain. During her positions at these places she has also worked for three contract nursing agencies in corrections doing PRN hours and some 13 week contracts. Most recently she has been on staff for ShareStaff. In her early career she gained experience as a licensed practical nurse in the emergency room, intensive care, and progressive care units while she raised her children and was able to return to school to complete her RN and BSN. She also was trained and worked as a telemetry technician in ICU prior to going to nursing school.

Ms. Theye's academic achievements have played a significant role in her professional success. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Union Adventist University in 2022, building upon her foundational knowledge and experience acquired as a Licensed Practical Nurse, earned at Central Community College in 2003. She has also held leadership and preceptorship roles in her employment.

Further adding to Ms. Theye's qualifications is her certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technician by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists. In this role, she integrated her nursing experience with sleep medicine. She conducted sleep studies and acted as the lead sleep lab manager for an independent sleep lab. In addition to her academic pursuits, she attributes much of her success to the unwavering support of her family, who have been instrumental in her educational and career journey.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Theye has participated in various civic activities, including volunteer work with her children's schools and sports, homeless shelters and military personnel. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting and other arts and crafts projects. She is considering transitioning to a case management or utilization review role in the upcoming years to achieve a better work-life balance as well as expand her nursing career.
