With over 25 years in the industry, Mr. Bridges has culminated his career in mechanical engineering and product design with his role as a group scientist at Procter and Gamble. Before retiring in 2024, he dedicated two decades to Procter and Gamble, where he also served as a senior product design engineer from 2004 to 2024. His tenure there was marked by significant achievements, including the development of their new product lifecycle management system, which streamlined the company's development processes.
Before his work at Procter and Gamble, Mr. Bridges honed his skills as a CAD consultant at CadPo from 2003 to 2004. His early career also includes roles as a senior mold design engineer at Caco Pacific and as a product and mold design engineer at Alliance Plastics. His foundational experience was gained at Styrex Industries, where he served as a product and process engineer from 1996 to 1997.
Mr. Bridges is an accomplished inventor, particularly in razor design. His proudest achievement is his newest creation: the Venus Radiant Skin. The razor has a unique design in the industry, and Mr. Bridges holds several patents on the product and its features. He has also worked on various other successful projects, including Gillette Fusion, ProGlide, Venus Embrace, and Breeze.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Bridges is an active member of the Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Society of Plastic Engineers. He is also involved in several civic organizations, such as the Elks Club, Boys and Girls Club in South Boston, and Rosie's Place for Homeless Women. He also supports small local charities. .
Mr. Bridges' academic background laid the foundation for his successful career with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University in 1995. In recognition of his subsequent contributions to Procter and Gamble, he received the President's Award in 2009.
